Scope of Accreditation

The scope of HEIACert Quality Management System has been established and implemented following the principle of international standard ISO/IES 17065 (Management Requirements – Option A),
HEIACert Quality Management System is the basic tool for the operation as a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) for product and provides the necessary transparency regarding the functions, the duties, the authorities, and the responsibilities of the personnel.
The Initial Scope of HEIACert for product certification activities for accreditation are:
The scope of the Quality Manual and the Quality Management System (QMS) of HEIACert it describes is to address the policies and operational documents/procedures needed to meet the requirements of:
1. ISO/IEC 17065 Standard for Conformity assessment requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services,
2. GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance Standard (IFA): [as the product certification scope]
– Scope: Crops Base(CB)
– Subscope: Fruits and Vegetables (FV)
i. Option 1 – Individual producer applies for GLOBALG.A.P. Certification and;
ii. Option 1 – Multisite without Implementation of QMS: Individual producer or organization owns several production sites that don’t function as separate legal entities apply for GLOBALG.A.P. Certification.
Now HEIACert reached the accredit, GLOBALG.A.P. Database shows HEIACert Status as [approval CB], HEIACert will undertake unlimited certificates related to the accredited scope. [In accordance with GLOBALG.A.P. General Regulation] .

Geographical area
The scope of HEIACert certification services is restricted to products, produced by companies/producers in Arab republic of Egypt .
